About Course

The Digital Parenting Programme (DPP) is a practical parent-focused capacity-building initiative designed to help parents and guardians understand, navigate and respond effectively to the rapidly changing digital environment in which children are growing.

Children today encounter smartphones, social media, online video, gaming platforms, artificial intelligence, digital learning platforms and other technologies at increasingly early stages of life. While these technologies provide significant opportunities for education, creativity, communication and personal development, they also introduce challenges that parents may not always be equipped to understand or manage.

The Digital Parenting Programme seeks to bridge this gap by equipping parents with the knowledge, practical tools and strategies required to protect children from harmful digital exposure while also helping them benefit from technology.

The programme adopts a balanced philosophy: Protect. Guide. Leverage. Prepare.

Parents will learn not simply how to restrict children’s access to technology, but how to become effective digital guides who can help children develop healthy, responsible and productive relationships with technology.
